About the role

  • Technical Recruiter responsible for scaling product and engineering teams at AI Care Partner Heidi. Engaging with top tech talent and streamlining the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical hiring end-to-end. From role scoping and crafting clear JDs through to offer and close, ensuring a thoughtful, high-quality candidate experience throughout.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers (particularly across Product, Engineering and AI) to lead early-stage interviews, filter applications and conduct technical screening calls across 15+ concurrent roles.
  • Optimise the interview process to identify high-calibre technical talent by building structured situational, behavioural and values-based question banks — with additional rigour around technical signal.
  • Support hiring managers in designing meaningful role-related tasks, coding challenges and take-homes that accurately assess real-world capability.
  • Activate headhunt mode when required for niche technical roles - proactively mapping competitor landscapes, identifying strong profiles and building pipelines across engineering, AI and product.
  • Benchmark elite technical talent, helping hiring managers clearly distinguish good from exceptional and calibrate consistently across teams.
  • Support the Head of People in implementing and evolving talent tools, processes and systems as we scale.
  • Network, build and nurture relationships across the tech ecosystem - engineers, product managers, operators - building a high-calibre technical talent pipeline.
  • Elevate our employer brand in creative ways representing Heidi across various platforms eg. conferences, networking events, community meetups, blogs, socials, videos etc.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in internal Talent Acquisition, ideally within high-growth tech startups (Series A–C or similar), with clear experience hiring technical roles.
  • Experience managing the hiring process end to end from activating talent funnel, role scoping, CV screening, interviews to offer, acceptance and onboarding.
  • Super-connector, loves working with people, building rapport and nurturing relationships.
  • Knowledge around hiring technical roles is important (product and engineering) the rest can be learned.
  • Must be comfortable with headhunting tactics and cold outreach when needed to build candidate pipeline against talent gaps
  • Pace and urgency to your work is essential, if you are execution focused and get sh*t done no matter how much chaos and ambiguity surrounds you - great.
  • An eye for identifying high caliber talent and passionate about building a high performance culture.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, competitive, driven by hitting numbers and developing deep relationships with empathy and a commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work autonomously with high levels of accountability to meet TA requirements and hiring goals.
