About the role

  • Intern at HCSC supporting the implementation of new accounts and products. Researching, analyzing data and collaborating with stakeholders to execute project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Researching, analyzing and gathering data to support the implementation of new or renewing accounts, new legislation, and products across the enterprise.
  • Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to coordinate the implementation.
  • Assisting with managing implementation project activities of low to moderate complexity.
  • Gathering, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting marketing, legislative, financial, and operating data.
  • Supporting multiple priorities across projects and working with the implementation team to complete tasks on time.
  • Interacting one-on-one and in group settings with departmental/inter-departmental team members to identify issues, gather data, brainstorm, prioritize, discuss analytic approach, and share findings.
  • Supporting projects, forming, and maintaining key partnerships with other/related HCSC business areas.
  • Communicating with team, management, and key stakeholders to keep them informed of project deliverables, status updates and issue resolution.
  • Assisting in preparing reports and presentations as directed to support the overall delivery and execution of client, business, and operational requirements.
  • Creating a final internship PowerPoint presentation to share with department leadership covering the internship experience, the assigned project over the course of the summer, including the results along with any solutions or recommendations that can be leveraged by the department in the future.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, healthcare administration, or a similar field.
  • Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer (June – August)
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. (Currently, we are not offering this program to students on a visa)
