About the role
- Part-time recruiter for Girl Scouts responsible for executing membership recruiting strategies in Marion county. Engaging in presentations and calls to increase girl and adult membership leads while assisting with events.
Responsibilities
- Execute effective membership recruiting strategies via in-person presentations and phone calls
- Increase girl and adult lead generation in assigned geographic areas
- Present the benefits of Girl Scouting to potential members and volunteers at various locations
- Assist with member registration and prepare recruitment events
- Ensure diversity in Girl Scouting outreach
- Communicate product features and benefits primarily in-person
- Be flexible and generous with talents serving the Girl Scout movement
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Some related recruitment or direct sales experience preferred
- Must complete in-person paid training provided by GSWCF
- Experience with Girl Scouts preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation along with documentation of a valid drivers’ license, required automobile insurance and safe driving record
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong oral communication skills, bi-lingual preferred
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines successfully
- Ability to be an effective team player
- Registration as a member of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida
