About the role

  • Senior Brand Manager leading marketing strategies for Gogo SqueeZ brand in Canada. Responsible for brand positioning, innovation, and cross-functional team collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning: In collaboration with the Brand Director, define and align overall direction and global cross-functional teams on the brand’s annual marketing plans based on in-depth analyses of commercial performance in the category and versus competitors in the Canadian market.
  • Brand strategy: Work closely with global marketing teams and the Brand Director to own the brand’s global strategic positioning and localize it by bringing the brand mission to life across all developed strategies.
  • Product development and innovation: Supporting local and global innovation teams, develop the brand’s innovation/renovation strategy (levers, 3-year vision, guiding principles) and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure the brand positioning and consistency across all touchpoints and activations.
  • Manage the brand portfolio and its positioning; contribute to the development of pricing, promotion and distribution strategies.
  • Work closely with the Shopper Marketing and Retail Excellence teams to ensure the effectiveness of in-store tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Consumer Insights, RID, Regulatory, Finance, Sales, Operations Management, Innovation, Manufacturing and Global Marketing on multidisciplinary projects aimed at creating value for the brand and the business unit.
  • Manage a Brand Manager and be accountable for their performance and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a marketing focus (preferred)
  • 10 years of experience in brand/product management, preferably in the food sector, including a minimum of 2–3 years managing a team of one or more
  • Strong command of media mix levers and proven experience managing multiple integrated campaigns across various channels (social, digital, TV, OOH, influencer, e-commerce, retail media, etc.) in smooth, effective cross-agency collaboration
  • Excellent command of English and French
