About the role
- Process Engineer in a leading provider of sanitary fittings based in Portugal. Responsible for coordinating product quality and production results in Surface team at the Albergaria-a-Velha plant.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the Surface team's results (production and quality);
- Ensure production control reporting;
- Perform ongoing quality control of the Surface process;
- Ensure implementation and standardization of Lean tools;
- Ensure proper operation of Surface equipment;
- Monitor, identify and report staffing needs to the Head of Surface;
- Support onboarding and training of new employees;
- Support strategic people and team management;
- Collaborate with the Manager to monitor progress against the monthly production budget;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams — production, quality and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial Management, Mechanical, Materials or similar);
- Experience in production management;
- Experience with SAP (preferred);
- Proficiency with Google tools (e.g., Google Workspace);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English;
- Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
