About the role

  • Sales Manager driving growth and market visibility in Power Grids, focusing on German speaking regions. Leading strategic initiatives and engaging with key stakeholders in the energy transition.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and realize growth ambitions for Power Grids in German speaking markets
  • Monitor market developments and analyze business opportunities
  • Engage with C-level relations and increase market visibility
  • Collaborate with other sales managers and account management teams
  • Act as a thought leader in the industry and represent the company at conferences
  • Generate leads and manage the bid process for medium to large opportunities
  • Support operational delivery teams with priority setting
  • Contribute to the development of the Annual Operating Plan

Requirements

  • Strong skills in business strategy, sales pipeline management and market analysis, with a focus on advisory services
  • Experience in identifying opportunities, managing bids and increasing market presence
  • Demonstrated ability to seize and close commercial opportunities and impact business growth and profitability
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in networking and customer engagement, with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proven ability to develop strategic roadmaps and advisory services in a fast-paced, changing, complex and ambiguous environment
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly understand and analyse complex issues and problems, and to understand market trends and make sound judgments
  • Ability to define market share within own area and set ambitious, realistic targets for growth
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Proven ability to coach/mentor and develop professionals
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusivity to define the best project-teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex issues and manage conflicting priorities
  • Innovative mindset to generate fresh ideas and solutions, promoting change and novelty
  • In-depth knowledge of the Electricity Transmission and Distribution sector in German speaking markets
  • Good understanding of Transmission and Distribution market, in particular related to Grid Expansion, its players and dynamics.
