About the role

  • Analyst role focusing on manufacturing cost analysis, collaborating with operation and finance teams at CASA. Involves ERP system implementation and process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Update and ensure the reliability of standard costs: raw materials, labor, machinery and overheads;
  • Support inventory control activities: variance analysis, data validation and recommendations;
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve bills of materials (BOM) and manufacturing routings;
  • Analyze monthly production variances and propose improvement opportunities;
  • Support the deployment of the new ERP system (Epicor) by contributing to migration, validations and testing;
  • Produce clear, accurate cost analysis reports that are useful to management;
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of costing and inventory processes;
  • Work with procurement to monitor fluctuations in raw material costs;
  • Contribute to the periodic review of machine rates and overhead structure.

Requirements

  • DEC (college diploma) in Accounting, Industrial Engineering or a related field;
  • 2 to 7 years of experience in cost analysis, manufacturing accounting or inventory control;
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (metalworking, processing or equivalent);
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL or Power BI;
  • Experience working with a manufacturing ERP (Epicor, IPSO, SAP or other);
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments;
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities;
  • Versatile and results-oriented;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
