About the role

Responsibilities
- Update and ensure the reliability of standard costs: raw materials, labor, machinery and overheads;
- Support inventory control activities: variance analysis, data validation and recommendations;
- Collaborate with production teams to improve bills of materials (BOM) and manufacturing routings;
- Analyze monthly production variances and propose improvement opportunities;
- Support the deployment of the new ERP system (Epicor) by contributing to migration, validations and testing;
- Produce clear, accurate cost analysis reports that are useful to management;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of costing and inventory processes;
- Work with procurement to monitor fluctuations in raw material costs;
- Contribute to the periodic review of machine rates and overhead structure.
Requirements
- DEC (college diploma) in Accounting, Industrial Engineering or a related field;
- 2 to 7 years of experience in cost analysis, manufacturing accounting or inventory control;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (metalworking, processing or equivalent);
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL or Power BI;
- Experience working with a manufacturing ERP (Epicor, IPSO, SAP or other);
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments;
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail;
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities;
- Versatile and results-oriented;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
