About the role

  • Provide administrative support for outbound sales organization at Global Industrial. Manage account assignments and support inter-department coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Outbound Sales organization and cross-functional teams including Sales Enablement, Training, Marketing, and Sales Leadership.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Vendors, and internal teams to obtain product information and availability.
  • Support SPP Supplier Management, including: Coordination and support for onsite supplier shows, participation in team strategy meetings and ongoing communication with the Product Team.
  • Provide comprehensive sales reporting, including: Regional KPIs, scorecards, and attainment reporting, wins tracking, E‑Procurement tracking and ad hoc reporting requests from the Sales Team.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage account assignments, including daily account maintenance, account grouping and hierarchy cleanup, and updating and assigning accounts prior to orders.
  • Support SPP Supplier Management, including coordination and support for onsite supplier shows, participation in team strategy meetings and ongoing communication with the Product Team.
  • Support maintenance of pricing and program data, including: Medallion pricing requests and CSP management, including account files and price increase updates.
  • Provide comprehensive sales reporting, including: Regional KPIs, scorecards, and attainment reporting, wins tracking, E‑Procurement tracking and ad hoc reporting requests from the Sales Team.
  • Coordinate event planning and execution, including local events and cooperative partner/customer tradeshows.
  • Provide PowerPoint and presentation support for Sales Representatives and leadership.
  • Manage sample ordering and customer samples distribution.
  • Process and track expense reporting.
  • Coordinate and manage guest visits, including executive team visit schedules and invitations.
  • Manage employee purchase requests.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Vendors, and internal teams to obtain product information and availability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
