About the role
- Operations Associate executing production and manufacturing activities for Glanbia Performance Nutrition's manufacturing team. Performing manual tasks and ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures.
Responsibilities
- Able to perform manual tasks including but not limited to palletizing/de-palletizing, applying labels, caps, seals and stickers by hand, dropping scoops and packing finished product into boxes (production)
- Able to operate Straddle Stacker and pallet jack
- Provide detailed cleaning on equipment and parts to support changeovers
- Must be able to perform daily housekeeping tasks to keep work area 6S’d (clean, organized)
- Responsible for following GMP and Food Safety/Food Defense procedures
- Able to effectively follow written and oral instructions
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Support and abide by the company’s safety program and all safety initiatives, policies and procedures
- Report all injuries to the Supervisor immediately
- Ensure that work procedures are being followed in a consistent manner (Safety, Quality, GMP, MAV and HACCP)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School or GED preferred
- Team player able to work in a participative "fast paced" work environment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required
