About the role

  • Key Account Manager managing established client relationships in commercial insurance and logistics sectors. Responsible for client visits, proposals, and customized insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • You manage an established client base and independently acquire client relationships in the area of commercial and industrial insurance
  • You prepare client visits and coordinate extensions and changes to coverage
  • You are responsible for tender processes and prepare insurance concepts and solutions
  • You independently advise clients with high complexity and/or international operations
  • Take on additional tasks as specifically instructed
  • You analyze, assess and take responsibility for a specific portfolio in the area of commercial and industrial insurance
  • You have a confident, professional demeanor and communicate with decision-makers at all levels

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training in insurance or in freight forwarding & logistics, or alternatively a degree in business/economics
  • Subject-specific professional experience and solid knowledge in insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
  • Persuasiveness, strong communication and organizational skills, and a pronounced customer orientation
  • High level of initiative and motivation
  • Relationship management at client, association and insurer level is natural for you
  • Strong persuasion, argumentation and advisory skills with internal and external stakeholders at a demanding technical level
  • Several years of experience as a client advisor and demonstrable sales success
  • Proven ability to close deals and to communicate with decision-makers at all levels
  • Good network within commercial/industrial and/or logistics companies as well as with insurers
