Sales Specialist developing sales opportunities for medical equipment in Kuala Lumpur. Achieving sales and market penetration targets in line with company objectives.
Responsibilities
Initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities for the assigned products
Achieve the desired growth in revenue in line with the Company’s sales and income target
Prepare sales plan and secure orders for the Company’s products
Identify and establish new customers and business opportunities
Expand customer base and maximize market coverage in the designated geographical area
Carry out product / technical briefings, workshops or demonstrations to customers
Organize, support and participate in cases, workshops and conferences which may take place outside regular working hours / days
Provide efficient and effective service / support to maintain customer confidence
Fully utilize the Company’s CRM platform to submit up-to-date sales, activities and opportunities report
Ensure sales to customers are within the company’s payment and credit terms
Assist in monitoring customer payments to minimize risk of potential bad debts
Adhere to the Group and Company's policies and compliance.
Prepared to take on and cover geographical areas as assigned and other responsibilities / tasks as required by the Management.
Requirements
Bachelors’ degree or Diploma in Health Sciences or related field preferred
At least 2 years’ experience in healthcare/medical equipment is preferred
New Bachelors’ degree holders with the relevant qualification may be considered
Experience in critical care, emergency and surgical will be an added advantage to have but not essential
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good interpersonal and time-keeping skills & a strong team player
Strong business acumen and a high level of conscientiousness, resourcefulness, influencing, negotiation, communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills
Possess the passion to win in a results-oriented environment
Strong selling skills with good persuasive and negotiation skills
Good communications skills, fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Highly energetic, self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
