About the role

  • Sales Specialist developing sales opportunities for medical equipment in Kuala Lumpur. Achieving sales and market penetration targets in line with company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities for the assigned products
  • Achieve the desired growth in revenue in line with the Company’s sales and income target
  • Prepare sales plan and secure orders for the Company’s products
  • Identify and establish new customers and business opportunities
  • Expand customer base and maximize market coverage in the designated geographical area
  • Carry out product / technical briefings, workshops or demonstrations to customers
  • Organize, support and participate in cases, workshops and conferences which may take place outside regular working hours / days
  • Provide efficient and effective service / support to maintain customer confidence
  • Fully utilize the Company’s CRM platform to submit up-to-date sales, activities and opportunities report
  • Ensure sales to customers are within the company’s payment and credit terms
  • Assist in monitoring customer payments to minimize risk of potential bad debts
  • Adhere to the Group and Company's policies and compliance.
  • Prepared to take on and cover geographical areas as assigned and other responsibilities / tasks as required by the Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree or Diploma in Health Sciences or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years’ experience in healthcare/medical equipment is preferred
  • New Bachelors’ degree holders with the relevant qualification may be considered
  • Experience in critical care, emergency and surgical will be an added advantage to have but not essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good interpersonal and time-keeping skills & a strong team player
  • Strong business acumen and a high level of conscientiousness, resourcefulness, influencing, negotiation, communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills
  • Possess the passion to win in a results-oriented environment
  • Strong selling skills with good persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Good communications skills, fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Highly energetic, self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
