About the role
- User Experience Research Intern supporting user research and product design in SaaS with Norton & Avast. Collaborating with teams to understand user behaviour and improve security products.
Responsibilities
- Support research on real consumer SaaS products, including Norton & Avast
- Work with researchers, designers, and product teams to understand user behaviour
- Help shape how our security products are designed and improved at global scale
- Assist in planning and conducting user research studies, including interviews and usability testing
- Support the synthesis and analysis of research data to uncover user behaviours, needs, and motivations
- Contribute to the creation of research reports and presentations to share insights with product teams and stakeholders
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and workshops to help translate user insights into design decisions
- Learn and apply user research best practices and user centred design principles in a digital product environment
Requirements
- Be an active full time student or recently graduated
- Have an interest in consumer technology and SaaS products
- Strong written and spoken English is required
- Studying Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, User Experience, or related social science/design disciplines (e.g., Sociology, Ethnography)
- Interested in user research and how people use digital products and software
- Curious, analytical, and motivated to understand user behaviour and decision making (optional)
- Curious about AI and emerging technologies, with a thoughtful, human-first mindset.
- Excited to experiment, but comfortable questioning limitations, risks, and hype.
