Sales Manager for Software and Controls Solutions in LATAM, focusing on key accounts in Mexico and Steam Fleet in North America. Driving orders, commitments, and customer strategy for continued market success.
Responsibilities
Develop long term strategic plans by customer to drive market / customer penetration in support of Orders, Sales, Cash and Contribution Margin growth.
Maintain on-going customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers.
Drive a sales pipeline on complex, multi-offering transactions that may include Parts, Lifecare Services, Turbine / Generator Upgrades, Digital Solutions and Long-Term Service / Parts Agreements.
Develop and maintain key Account Plans with detailed insights focused on Customer’s Strategy, Customer ESG Policies, Organizational Structures, Buying Behaviors, Outage and Opportunity Forecasts.
Continuously monitor and drive the development of the opportunity pipeline for regional opportunities.
Full alignment and coordination with the Gas Power Services team (Account Managers, Contracts Managers, Management Staff) to develop coordinated business strategies and activities over Gas Power Mexico Fleet.
Ensure that business KPIs, pipeline health, and opportunity information in the CRM are accurate, up-to-date, and consistently maintained.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Technical Discipline from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Power Generation segment
Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with, and knowledge of Gas and Steam Turbine / Generator and Controls technology products and services
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing, Sales, Project Management or Customer Service
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage and influence in a matrix environment.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Integrative team working style.
Time management skills and ability to work across functions.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
Business acumen / analytic ability
Ability to travel more than 50% of time.
