About the role

  • Installation Manager leading technical operations for wind turbine installation in the ANZ region. Overseeing construction processes and ensuring operational efficiency while managing a team.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the construction and installation readiness for projects within ANZ
  • Ensuring operational efficiency for projects within ANZ
  • Implementing installation processes and tools while coordinating the training of technical teams
  • Directly reporting to this role across ANZ will be Project Technical Advisors (TAs)
  • Responsible for training and performance monitoring of TAs
  • Staying well-versed in project schedules and delivery details
  • Offering support to site construction managers and project managers
  • Managing engineering escalations and PAC cases
  • Providing external customer support
  • Maintaining technical oversight
  • Traveling between projects as required
  • Contributing to install/training efforts within the broader APAC region as needed

Requirements

  • Industry recognized Qualification in Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical Engineering
  • Demonstrated trade or heavy lift experience
  • Relevant Product & EHS training certifications
  • Standard industry safety training (GWO)
  • Valid Medical cert
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in wind turbine installation and construction, with a proven track record of successful project completions and leadership
  • 48 months demonstrated Supervisory experience- managing a team of 5 or more direct staff
  • In-depth knowledge of wind turbine technology, components, and assembly processes
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
  • Must have intermediate level in computer skills (MS OFFICE)
  • Must possess an Australian Driver's license
  • Relevant certifications in wind energy, safety, or project management are a plus.
