About the role

  • System Architect / Business Analyst at GDV DL, translating business needs into technical specifications for the insurance sector. Collaborating with development teams to create comprehensive documentation and ensure technical feasibility.

Responsibilities

  • You translate business requirements from high-level concepts into implementation-ready technical specifications for software development.
  • You analyze and coordinate requirements with business units, architects, developers and other stakeholders.
  • You create and maintain technical designs, user stories, acceptance criteria and accompanying documentation.
  • Together with the development teams, you ensure that requirements are technically feasible and clearly defined.
  • During implementation, you provide technical guidance and clarify open questions.
  • You identify optimization potential in requirements elicitation and preparation and develop best practices.
  • As a communicative interface, you confidently bridge the gap between business and IT areas.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics.
  • At least five years of experience in software development or software architecture.
  • Solid knowledge of requirements analysis and experience translating between business and IT language.
  • Experience with agile methods, user stories, acceptance criteria and modern development processes.
  • Technical expertise in Java / Spring Boot, container technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes) and software architectures.
  • Confident use of modeling techniques (UML, BPMN, C4, Structurizr DSL) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication skills, decisiveness and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Structured, solution-oriented and facilitative working style.
