About the role

  • Sales Manager for Gautier Semences leading commercial strategy in Spain & Portugal. Driving growth and customer satisfaction in gardening seed solutions across markets.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement and lead the commercial strategy in alignment with the group's objectives
  • Analyze the market, identify growth opportunities (new segments, customers, geographic areas) and contribute to the development of new varieties in collaboration with the product development team
  • Ensure a high level of customer knowledge and satisfaction by understanding their technical and commercial needs
  • Develop and retain a portfolio of strategic customers, as well as prospect and win new clients
  • Coordinate and work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer service and product teams
  • Build and maintain sustainable strategic partnerships with key partners
  • Monitor commercial performance using KPIs, prepare reports and propose action plans
  • Participate in setting financial objectives as well as managing, monitoring and controlling the budget

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong background in sales and/or marketing, with experience in key account management
  • Deep knowledge of the agriculture sector, ideally the seed market
  • Experience in market analysis, reporting and budget management
  • Strategic vision, results orientation and strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
  • University degree in agronomic engineering or equivalent education
