About the role

  • Area Sales Manager at GUESS, responsible for sales in assigned territory and developing customer relationships. Focusing on presentation of collections and building partnerships in fashion retail.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and present GUESS collections, including processing resulting orders
  • Proactively acquire new customers and expand existing customer relationships within the assigned territory
  • Prepare and evaluate statistics, reports and analyses to steer sales activities
  • Conduct ongoing market research and carry out competitor analyses
  • Provide comprehensive customer care and service, including conducting sales training for our partners
  • Ensure, further develop and optimize an excellent customer experience
  • Work closely with internal departments and support the Division Sales Manager in the assigned territory

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training or degree, ideally with a focus on sales, fashion or retail
  • Solid experience in sales or area management, preferably in the fashion or consumer goods industry
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical understanding and confident handling of numbers and KPIs
  • Structured, independent and result-oriented working style
  • High willingness to travel within the assigned territory
