About the role

  • Key Account Manager managing strategic client relationships in Austria and Luxembourg for a technology group in smart mobility. Responsible for sales development and account growth within the railroad industry.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for managing and strategically developing a key account portfolio.
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Identifying and developing new market and business opportunities.
  • Planning and conducting customer visits, presentations and business meetings.
  • Preparing proposals and managing the quotation process.
  • Close cooperation with marketing, project management and internal specialist departments.
  • Preparing monthly forecasts for order intake, revenue and contribution margin.
  • Representing the company at trade fairs and industry events.
  • Maintaining the CRM system in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Supporting sales-related projects and, when required, taking on additional tasks within the sales team.

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational qualification in electrical engineering, sales, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in sales and key account management.
  • Strong sense of customer needs and a confident manner when dealing with decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Structured, independent and goal-oriented working style.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics (CRM).
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English.
