About the role

  • Sales Representative focusing on client acquisition and relationship management in Southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for a leading technology company in mobility solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively acquire new customers and manage and maintain existing customer relationships within the sales territory of Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • Plan and conduct customer visits and business meetings to drive sales and nurture customer relationships in the designated region
  • Identify new market and sales opportunities within the sales territory
  • Present products and services on-site at the customer's location
  • Prepare proposals and lead contract negotiations
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies
  • Attend trade shows and events to represent the company in Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • Maintain the customer database and provide regular reports on sales activities
  • Support sales-related projects

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in business administration, sales or a related field
  • Professional experience in sales, ideally in public transport (ÖPNV) or the rail sector
  • Strong ability to identify and respond to customer needs
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Structured way of working and an independent, goal-oriented approach
  • Confident use of MS Office and CRM systems
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and potentially internationally for customer care and business development
