Responsibilities
Strategic and operational management of assigned top accounts for the spices product group (branded products and private label)
Personal responsibility for servicing, developing and expanding all customers from the assigned retail headquarters, including leading and owning negotiations on prices, terms and commercial framework
Planning, control and analysis, e.g., through budget and sales planning, customer management, and deriving relevant KPIs
Ongoing analysis of competitor positions and assortments and deriving concrete recommendations for action by controlling and optimizing listings as well as building new business
Development of customer-specific annual targets, strategies and action plans by conducting regional annual review meetings
Requirements
Degree in economics or business administration (e.g., Economics, Business Administration) or a comparable qualification, e.g., equivalent vocational training such as industrial clerk
Practical experience and proven success in Key Account Management / Sales for branded or private-label products in FMCG, with a focus on German retail headquarters (e.g., Senior Key Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Manager)
Experience in leading negotiations and closing annual agreements, and solid knowledge of customer-side structures and decision-making processes
Good understanding of market research findings and the ability to translate them into customer-facing arguments
Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, for communication with customers
