About the role

  • Account Manager at AVEVA responsible for managing metallurgical industry accounts and achieving revenue targets. Planning industry development initiatives and transitioning to people management in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing account management services to a defined portfolio of large, high-profile regional accounts within the metallurgical (or non-ferrous metals) industry
  • Achieve revenue targets and maximize the adoption of AVEVA solutions and services across these accounts
  • Transition into a people management role in the near future
  • Planning and deploying industry development plans, setting up replicable industry business models, and administering account plans
  • Developing and maintaining the partner network in the industry
  • Coordinating and deploying industry marketing activities
  • Understanding customer requirements and providing efficient solutions in a timely manner
  • Working closely with upper-level management to deliver accurate information
  • Maintaining good contract quality and cash return record

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience in a relevant domain
  • Good knowledge of the metallurgical (or non-ferrous metals) industry; a major in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields is preferred
  • English reading and writing ability is preferred
