About the role

Responsibilities
- Analyze and control costs in the logistics and supply chain areas (e.g., transport, warehousing, order picking) and perform variance analyses (actual vs. target) as a Junior Controller (m/f/d) SCM / Supply Chain
- Create and further develop reports, KPIs and dashboards for logistics, planning and dispatch
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities as well as forecast and budgeting processes within Supply Chain / SCM
- Evaluate cost and performance structures along the supply chain, including cost center accounting and allocation across business units
- Participate in projects to increase efficiency, optimize processes and improve capacity utilization
- Work closely with the specialist departments: logistics, planning, purchasing, production and the business units
- Drive the development of systems and reporting tools used in controlling
Requirements
- Degree in economics, business administration, controlling, finance or equivalent qualification
- Some professional experience in controlling/finance, ideally in a manufacturing company — e.g., as a Junior Controller, Supply Chain Controller, Operations Controller or student trainee in controlling
- Very strong analytical skills, strong numerical aptitude and a structured way of working
- Experience with SAP HANA (modules FI/CO, MM, PP, EWM, SD) is a plus
- Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, BusinessObjects, Tagetik) desirable
- Team player with strong communication skills and high self-initiative
