Junior Document Management Technician supporting projects in Oil, Gas & New Energies. Ensuring document management compliance while collaborating with diverse project teams across various locations.
Responsibilities
Provide document management support to projects by processing and issuing project deliverables on behalf of Wood disciplines, clients, suppliers, and contractors
Ensure compliance with document management procedures and project requirements while supporting project teams across multiple locations and time zones
Register and maintain document numbers in Wood’s and the Client’s EDMS
Process and issue project document deliverables on behalf of Wood disciplines, the client, suppliers, and contractors
Perform non-technical review of project deliverables
Review client project specifications / standards and current Wood procedures to ensure understanding
Ensure compliance with Wood DM project delivery procedures, and client standards
Support Turnover and Closeout of engineering and supplier documents
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in document management
Experience using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
Strong computer literacy and prior data entry experience
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow and implement document DM work processes and checklists
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Prior experience supporting energy transition or renewables projects
