About the role

  • Medical Sales Specialist promoting and selling medical products and equipment. Responsible for developing market plans and ensuring customer satisfaction in assigned territories.

Responsibilities

  • Selling medical products and equipment to existing and prospective customers
  • Developing and implementing market plans and sales strategies for the assigned territory
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Providing medical gas products, services, and equipment to assigned accounts within the territory
  • Representing the company's product lines to new prospects and existing customers, emphasizing product benefits
  • Developing and maintaining sales relationships within the assigned territory
  • Identifying and qualifying prospective customers and reporting to the direct manager
  • Increasing sales and margin profits by penetrating existing accounts and acquiring new ones
  • Serving as a liaison between customers and the company for pricing, products, delivery, payments, and inquiries
  • Assisting other sales representatives in maintaining and developing medical sales within their customer base
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints effectively
  • Analyzing market data to identify new customers and develop sales strategies
  • Preparing and analyzing sales reports to understand pricing, market conditions, and sales performance
  • Collaborating with management to develop and implement market plans and sales strategies
  • Ensuring sales objectives are met within the budget and controlling expenses
  • Maintaining open communication with management by submitting timely activity and results reports
  • Adhering to safety procedures and regulations while working

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 3+ years of experience selling medical, specialty, or industrial gases and equipment
  • Strong understanding of medical gas products and processes
  • Negotiating and selling skills with a proven record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
  • Computer proficiency, including Google Workspace tools and MS word, excel, etc…
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with insurance coverage
  • Knowledge of the geographical area
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and attentive to detail
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
