Learning Experience Designer responsible for creating engaging learning solutions at FreedomCare. Collaborating with teams to enhance caregiver experience through effective training and technology.
Responsibilities
Design and develop engaging, outcome-driven learning solutions across modalities (e-learning, instructor-led, virtual, blended, and microlearning).
Create high-quality training assets including courses, videos, job aids, facilitator guides, assessments, and multi-day curricula.
Apply adult learning principles and behavior change strategies to ensure learning translates into on-the-job performance.
Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to identify learning needs, define objectives, and align solutions to business goals.
Conduct needs analyses to diagnose performance gaps and recommend appropriate learning or non-learning interventions.
Translate complex operational processes into clear, learner-centered content.
Support and enable training delivery by preparing facilitator materials, managing learning assets, and ensuring readiness for launch.
Collaborate with trainers and operations teams to ensure seamless rollout and adoption of learning solutions.
Define success metrics and evaluate learning effectiveness using appropriate evaluation methods (e.g., Kirkpatrick Levels, performance data).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related role
Experience designing both virtual and instructor-led training programs
Strong experience developing e-learning, multimedia content, and structured curricula
Experience working in fast-paced, operational environments; healthcare or regulated industry experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint)
