About the role

  • Event Manager executing planning and preparation for cybersecurity events at Fraunhofer Society. Responsible for managing all aspects from conception to execution.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, plan, organize and follow up on in-person events as well as hybrid and digital formats
  • Responsible for participant, invitation and tool/platform management
  • Preparation and management of budget, project and timeline plans
  • Coordinate service providers, venues and technical partners
  • Organize and support events on-site and digitally
  • Liaise with internal departments and external partners
  • Execute mailings

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing/Communications or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience planning and executing events
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability and excellent communication skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and/or mailing tools
  • Strong service and customer orientation
  • Structured and independent working style
  • Willingness to travel locally for business
  • Interest in scientific or technical topics
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
