About the role

  • Associate ETF Product Specialist at Franklin Templeton analyzing market trends and supporting ETF strategies. Collaborating with teams to educate on ETF strategies and products while contributing to product development.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data to identify market and industry trends
  • Build and maintain structured reporting across multiple dimensions
  • Create dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Manage systems for data storage and retrieval
  • Document processes that support reporting and analysis
  • Support presentations and internal business cases
  • Research competitive ETF products and industry developments
  • Contribute to ETF pricing and product strategy
  • Stay current on assigned ETFs through research and meetings
  • Execute and assist with new ETF launches for strategic beta and active ETFs
  • Assess new products and business opportunities
  • Support product positioning and develop investment messaging
  • Produce commentary and performance insights
  • Educate internal teams on ETF strategies and products
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for product‑related inquiries
  • Address client questions and communicate investment views
  • Support asset retention efforts with sales and client service
  • Deliver attribution analysis for internal and external partners
  • Contribute investment perspective to content creators

Requirements

  • 2–3 years in a product‑related or ETF‑focused role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field
  • Progress toward CFA preferred
  • Experience with Python or SQL
  • Familiarity with structured datasets
  • Experience with AI tools
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; VBA preferred
  • Ability to automate analyses and manage large datasets
  • Understanding of regulatory considerations
  • Knowledge of data sources such as Morningstar and Bloomberg
