About the role

  • Senior Manager leading apprenticeship initiatives and work-based learning programs for California Community Colleges. Collaborating with institutions to enhance educational outcomes and industry partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Implement comprehensive apprenticeship initiatives that align with the objectives of California community colleges and meet DAS requirements
  • Guide strategic planning to embed apprenticeship and work-based learning programs into college curricula
  • Formulate and advocate for work-based learning initiatives that introduce innovative instructional frameworks
  • Serve as the key advisor for integrating apprenticeship components seamlessly into academic programs
  • Provide expert guidance on curriculum design and modification

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, or a related field
  • At least six (6) years of relevant professional and scaling managerial experience in apprenticeship, workforce development, or higher education administration
  • Comprehensive experience in leading program development, project management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Direct and comprehensive experience with the California Community College system and Division of Apprenticeship Standards
