About the role
- UX Research Intern conducting user research and collaborating with design teams for product insights in tech company. Intern role requires relocation to Everett, WA for summer 2026.
Responsibilities
- Learn about the domain and user workflows through in-depth research and analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of user needs and pain points.
- Support and conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, on-site visits, and usability testing, to understand user needs and behavior.
- Analyze and interpret research data to identify trends and insights that will inform product design and development decisions.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to develop user personas, user journeys, and other user-centered design artifacts.
- Assist with the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and other design deliverables based on user research insights.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback based on research findings.
- Present research findings.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest UX research methodologies and tools.
Requirements
- Must be able to relocate for the summer to Everett, WA.
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, graduating December 2026 or later.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with UX research methodologies, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Experience with UX design tools, such as Figma, is a plus.
- A portfolio or samples of previous UX research projects is a plus.
