Responsibilities
Lead the full Annual Operating Plan (budget) for LATAM, partnering with department leaders and aligning with U.S. Corporate Finance.
Evaluate ROI for commercial initiatives, including multi‑year operating leases, market entries, and product launches.
Manage CapEx approval processes, building strong business cases and cost‑benefit analyses.
Partner with commercial leaders to design, review, and audit sales incentive programs.
Own the rolling forecast process (monthly/quarterly), identifying variance drivers and presenting insights to senior leadership.
Translate data into clear, actionable insights for regional and U.S. stakeholders.
Identify and quantify financial risks and opportunities across LATAM.
Oversee daily finance operations for Brazil (and future LATAM subsidiaries), including AP, AR, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Tax, and General Accounting.
Lead the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to U.S. Corporate Finance.
Maintain both U.S. GAAP reporting and local statutory books.
Ensure balance sheet quality through consistent reconciliation reviews and issue resolution.
Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities, ensuring full compliance with Brazilian tax and regulatory requirements.
Lead and develop a team of four finance professionals in Indaiatuba through clear KPIs, coaching, and performance reviews.
Provide training on accounting standards and financial systems (ERP, OneStream) to strengthen team capability.
Drive process improvements, identifying bottlenecks and leading continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in senior finance, accounting, or controllership roles within multinational environments.
Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations, statutory requirements, and labor laws.
Expertise in U.S. GAAP.
Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
Ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
Fluent Portuguese and professional‑level English.
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
Experience with OneStream, Hyperion, or HFM for consolidation.
Experience supporting regional expansion into new Latin American markets.
Professional Spanish for work with Mexico, Chile, or Peru.
