About the role
- Warranty Analyst managing warranty quality improvements and spend reductions for IMG built products. Leading project management efforts and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Project manage warranty quality improvements on IMG built products to reduce cost per unit (CPU)
- Project manage warranty spend reduction opportunities to reduce cost per repair (CPR)
- Monitor warranty trends to identify warranty quality issued and warranty spend reduction opportunities
- Prepare business cases for reduction opportunities
- Understand warranty part failure modes and collaborate with PD/STA to raise 8Ds projects
- Coordinate action plans to Implement warranty spend reduction opportunities using the 13 tools
- Monitor warranty to validate quality and warranty spend reduction actions
- Manage reporting of project status in required forums
- Manage and deliver warranty spend roadmap/KPIs
- Represent IMG Warranty at relevant project meetings
- Complete special assignments and Projects as required
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification required (Engineering preferred)
- Min 5 years’ experience leading teams in a technical environment required
- Automotive experience preferred
- Manufacturing, Quality, Material Handling experience in a high-quality manufacturing-design environment
- Strong Technical, Analytical and Project Management skills required
- Ability to manage and deliver specific projects independently
- Leadership, Results-driven attitude, Effective communication skills (incl English) both verbal and written
- Ability to influence and build relationships.
