About the role

  • Instructional Designer creating engaging eLearning for Ford's Learning & Development team. Supporting dealership teams in Cross Brand Technology, Ford and Lincoln Products, and Customer Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating interactive eLearning modules, videos, simulations, and performance support tools for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and publish digital training content using Articulate Rise, or other similar programs.
  • Create and edit graphics, animations, and video content using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to ensure training is engaging and effective.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, content team members and business owners to gather content and validate accuracy.
  • Review and test learning products to ensure usability, functionality, and brand consistency.
  • Assist in uploading, tracking, and maintaining learning content within the LMS.
  • Stay current on instructional technology trends and training innovations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and SCORM/xAPI standards.
  • Strong visual design sense and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest or experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • 2+ years of instructional design, eLearning development, or related experience
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 suite (Storyline & Rise).
