About the role
- Head of SOX IT General Controls in Flutter Functions cybersecurity team. Leading and improving IT control environment in compliance with SOX and cyber risk governance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the build, efficiency automation and oversight of SOX ITGC and Technology GRC risks and controls
- Oversee the annual SOX scoping, risk assessments, walkthroughs, testing coordination, and deficiency evaluations
- Drive education and accountability with the control owner community on the execution and evidencing of relevant IT General Controls
- Serve as primary liaison with Internal and External Auditors for ITGC matters
- Oversee the development and implementation of the cyber and technology risk management strategy
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Build and maintain effective collaborations with compliance functions
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT GRC and SOX compliance team
Requirements
- 15+ years’ experience in the SOX / Technology risk and controls space
- Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, with a focus on compliance and accountability
- Demonstrative experience of SOX as a control framework
- Extensive experience in cyber and technology risk management in a senior strategic leadership position
- Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in handling complex projects
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, AWS Certified Security – Specialty) are highly desirable
- Familiarity with the gambling or financial services industry is a plus
