About the role
- Managing Consultant leading digital transformation projects for clients at ERM. Overseeing project lifecycles and ensuring successful implementation of solutions aligned with sustainability goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead opportunity development sales team on RFP preparation with the scope of work, level of effort estimation, timeline plan and high-level project plan.
- Define and lead sales campaigns – platform, business requirement, solution based
- Lead collateral content development and webinar preparation / delivery
- Lead pre-sale solution demos
- Evaluate EHS PS software systems available on the market, including assisting clients with system requirements and system selection.
- Provide advice on different EHS PS software systems in response to specific data, organizational and operational requirements.
- Interact with clients on a routine basis to gather requirements and develop a full understanding of various business scenarios in order to assist with the development of appropriate proposals.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of SAP methodology, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
- Engage in all life cycle stages of project execution; provide support and enhancement to SAP platforms and solutions as required to meet the overall business objectives of clients.
- Analyze user requirements, prepare requirements document, as-is & to-be processes and identify gaps.
- Prepare for and lead project Blueprinting sessions with customer stakeholders to gather and document effective business requirements and translates requirements into functional and technical design specification documents.
- Design processes to meet requirements and prepare functional specifications.
- Facilitate management of change issues with the adoption of new information systems.
- Collaborate with clients to develop/refine implementation strategy and on-going testing needs.
- Prepare test plans, conduct testing validation, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Implement SAP EHS Product Compliance software solutions such as SAP for clients worldwide.
- Assist with SAP system configuration, integration, training, rollout, support, maintenance, and improvements.
- Lead consultant teams that configure/deploy SAP EHS Product Compliance solutions; specific activities include publishing system design documents, configuring components within the solution, analyzing/migrating data, and specifying custom reports/dashboards and automated interfaces.
- Provide knowledge transfer enablement through formal documentation and end-user training.
- Engage in system support and training documentation teams, prepare and present training to internal consultants and client system users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Chemical / Environmental Engineering / Science.
- Strong chemistry and Product Stewardship / compliance knowledge and experience
- Experience with a minimum of six full life-cycle implementations including all phases
- 6 to 8 years’ experience – consulting and/or industry; consulting project sales experience a must
- >= 4 Full Cycle SAP Product Compliance deployments – ECC and/or S/4HANA – including all phases such as planning, defining requirements, design, build, test, and deployment
- Strong Chemical / Pharmaceutical business and market knowledge
- Strong SAP technical knowledge of specification database, materials management materials master & procurement, Logistics shipping & delivery, customer master and overall SAP landscape functionality & integration
- Strong business process knowledge – Product Stewardship / Product Compliance, P2P, OTC, and Manufacturing
- SME in Specification database / Substance Data Model, SDS authoring/distribution, DG classification/checks, GLM, Global product compliance / SVT including checks, and Discrete Product Compliance
- Commercial acumen and drive – track record of customer relations, business development and proposal management
- Project delivery skills – track record of technical delivery success to scope and budget
- Track record of proposal preparation experience – Strong writing & estimating skills required
