About the role

  • Sales Manager responsible for driving business growth and selling payment solutions in France. Engaging with SMEs and maximizing sales performance through proactive outreach and lead generation.

Responsibilities

  • As a Field Sales / Sales Manager, you are the heart and soul of our sales engine.
  • This is a field-based role: you will cover the entire region and play a central role in Flatpay's business development.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to sell our solutions during in-person sales meetings with owners of small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Our internal lead-generation team will pre-qualify and schedule the majority of your sales meetings.
  • You will also proactively create your own sales opportunities through cold prospecting visits, customer referrals, and by leveraging your personal network.
  • To maximize your productivity and success, we have developed a tailored, proven sales approach and will provide you with comprehensive training.
  • Once you have sold our solutions, you will also be responsible for delivering and installing the equipment.
  • Your objective will be to sell and install as many solutions as possible, at the best possible price.
  • Your performance will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed monthly installation targets and the associated payment transaction volumes.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic about selling
  • Comfortable working in the field and visiting prospective clients
  • Resilient during cold prospecting visits and able to stay motivated despite repeated rejections
  • Proactive in planning and identifying new sales opportunities
  • Able to work independently and manage your own workday
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Motivated to meet — and exceed — specific monthly targets
  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus but not required to join Flatpay.
