About the role
- Project Manager overseeing successful delivery of client-facing projects at FIS. Managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Own day to day management of all aspects of project delivery, including planning, scheduling, and execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Work with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams
- Manage project risk and assisting with problem resolution
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial accountability in collaboration with PMO resources
- Provide clear, timely updates on project status, scope changes, and deliverables
- Utilize project management tools such as Planview and MS Project
- Some travel will be involved
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
- Advanced skills with project management software including MS Project and Planview
- A bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent experience
- Externally client-facing experience is required
- Non-technical project management experience is required
- Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed organization
