About the role

  • Lead Project Manager managing a team delivering capital engineering and construction schemes at Severn Trent Water. Responsible for innovation and project delivery with proven NEC project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of project managers and assistant project managers
  • Deliver multiple capital engineering and construction schemes within Severn Trent’s Capital and Commercial Services business area
  • Report to the Delivery Business Lead
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and drive innovation in capital project delivery
  • Anticipate unexpected issues and challenges as they arise

Requirements

  • Ideally degree qualified with relevant industry experience in project and programme delivery
  • Experience of managing NEC projects
  • Proven track record of cost planning and management and budgetary responsibility
  • Dynamic and collaborative leader with excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds
  • Relentless drive for continuous improvement
