About the role
- Head of Operations responsible for leading Finora Bank’s operations across client onboarding, transaction processing, and operational excellence. Ensuring compliance and efficiency in banking operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Finora’s Operations function across four core areas: Client Operations & Onboarding, Transaction Processing & Payments, Credit Operations, Deposit Operations
- Oversee daily execution across payments, loan administration, account management, and customer data management
- Ensure accurate transaction processing, reconciliation, and reporting
- Manage factoring and leasing operations within ERP, including deal processing, contract administration, and financial flows
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to optimize system configurations and resolve operational issues
- Design, document, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Define and track operational KPIs and conduct root cause analysis for operational incidents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Information Systems, or related field
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a strong advantage
- 3–5+ years of progressive banking operations experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Hands-on experience with core banking systems (Temenos T24, Mambu, Nano, Tuum, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Navision, SAP, or similar)
- Experience managing multi-functional operations teams within a regulated financial institution
- Experience in a digital bank, fintech, or payment institution is highly desirable
- Experience with payment systems (SEPA, SWIFT, CentroLink) and Internet Banking platforms
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills for operational reporting
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com) and documentation platforms (Confluence, Notion)
