About the role
- Technical Project Manager at fifty-five, delivering data platforms and solutions utilizing modern technologies. Leading project management and ensuring successful outcomes for client engagements.
Responsibilities
- The engineering team designs, develops and implements the technical solutions that enable the deployment of data platforms and the creation of data pipelines for our clients.
- The team relies on modern technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, notebooks, etc.) and deploys projects across the major cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.).
- The team works closely with the Data Science team to deliver advanced client use cases, including integrations with various market LLMs.
- Mission: We are looking for someone able to deliver technical projects that meet our clients’ needs (e.g., implementation of a Customer Data Platform, deployment of use cases involving Generative AI, implementation of data platforms, definition and implementation of enterprise-scale data governance, etc.).
- Activities range from cost estimation and technical sizing to implementing architectures, reviewing functional specifications and reviewing/producing code.
- In parallel, the role will include project and team management responsibilities.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience, including initial professional experience in technical consulting
- Initial experience in team management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation abilities
- Analysis and advisory: ability to analyze requirements, propose solutions in a concise, clear and realistic way, and apply a structured approach
- Technical project management: planning, internal coordination, client relations, deadline and risk management, and quality control of deliverables
- Strong knowledge of data architectures
- Proficiency with Cloud environments. Certified on GCP, Azure or AWS
- Experience with at least one data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
- Familiarity with API concepts (OAuth, REST, etc.)
- Good knowledge of Python and SQL
- Good knowledge of Docker
- Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform)
- Familiar with GitOps practices and CI/CD concepts
- Team player (participates in unit tests, code reviews, code sharing, sprints)
- Good proficiency in French and English
- Experience working on projects with diverse stakeholders (consultants, data analysts, data scientists)
- Experience in digital marketing is a plus
