About the role

Responsibilities
- Development of logistics concepts and functional specification documents to design new processes
- Analysis and optimization of material flows, warehouse logistics, and automated processes
- Redesign and development of future-proof software solutions in the area of warehouse management and material flow systems
- Close collaboration and alignment of software design with the software vendor (Witron)
- Enhancement and adaptation of existing applications in automated storage systems and material flow software
- Implementation, testing, and commissioning of in-house developed software
- Analysis and optimization of the implemented logic and material flows
- Software support for the Festo distribution center in Rohrbach (material flow controller, Oracle DB, operator dialogs including connected information system)
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or an equivalent IT qualification (e.g., Fachinformatiker/IT specialist)
- Several years of professional experience in software development
- Ideally, commissioning experience with automated logistics systems (warehouse management systems, material flow controllers, PLCs)
- Solid knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL, C, C#, .NET, or other common programming languages
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with an independent and responsible working style
- High level of communication and teamwork skills
