About the role

  • Sales Manager for Fund Solutions at FERI, responsible for client acquisition and developing sales strategies. Collaborating with various departments to optimize market strategies and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • New client acquisition: Proactively approaching and securing new distribution partners (including private bankers, asset managers, fund-of-funds managers and Independent Financial Advisors - IFAs) in the third-party fund business
  • Existing client management: Long-term development and maintenance of client relationships and advising on our FERI fund solutions and strategies
  • Sales support: Preparation and continuous improvement of presentations, proposals and sales collateral
  • Collaboration: Close coordination with other departments such as product development, portfolio management and marketing/communications
  • Market monitoring: Analysis of market trends and competitor activity to continuously optimize the sales strategy
  • Reporting: Preparation of sales reports and analyses, and maintenance of relevant data in the CRM system

Requirements

  • Completed banking apprenticeship (preferably at a savings bank or cooperative bank) or a degree in economics/business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Practical experience in a sales environment, ideally within banking—preferably at savings banks or cooperative banks—or in asset management or wealth management
  • Strong understanding of bank-specific processes and experience working with distribution partners
  • Very good knowledge of capital markets and financial products (equities, bonds, funds, options, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, negotiation skills and a high customer focus
  • Willingness to undertake regular nationwide business travel to personally support distribution partners and clients, combined with a high degree of initiative and commitment
  • Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
