Sr. Sales Commissions Analyst calculating commissions and incentives at CDK Global. Responsible for end-to-end commission process from data validation to issue resolution in automotive software solutions.
Responsibilities
Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures
Complete all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements
As a subject matter expert, partner with sales personnel to investigate and resolve commission inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
Support management with ad-hoc analyses related to sales performance, attainment, and incentive outcomes.
Calculate and record sales quota and other adjustments in the system.
Participate in testing and validation of compensation system updates or process improvements.
Partner with the broader Sales Compensation team and Sales Operations to evaluate sales transactions to ensure appropriate sales credit is awarded per the sales policy.
Partner with Sales Operations to operationalize sales promotions, and reporting results.
Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or enhance processes to reduce manual work and errors.
Maintain audit-ready documentation of commission calculations, approvals, and payments.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, mathematics, or related field.
4 – 6+ years of experience in commission analysis, financial analysis or compensation administration.
Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, complex formulas, and use of functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH and nested logical statements to calculate and analyze commission data.
Solid proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Power Point, Word).
Experience working with sales incentive compensation systems and ERP/CRM tools such as Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft 365.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Self-motivated and organized with the ability to prioritize and compete tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and business partners across North America.
