Responsibilities
Focuses on managing and further developing relationships, unique sales strategies as a direct partner to key accounts.
Brings a data-driven, storytelling approach to understanding customer opportunities and objectives.
Contributes to the creation and execution of integrated marketplace plans with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain.
Drives new business growth through selling solutions to team shops and accounts.
Researches and understands the customer base - business goals, objectives, and challenges.
Owns operations update meetings internally with all proper stakeholders.
Proposes solutions to deliver quantifiable business value through integrated relationships.
Works closely with sales operations team to analyze weekly POS for key accounts.
Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the licensed sports industry at revenue level of $3M.
Direct experience as an account manager in licensed sports at mass/mid/SG retailers.
Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships that resulted in sales growth.
Must be able to maintain effective internal relationships to facilitate sales.
Proven track record of identifying growth opportunities that resulted in sales growth.
Demonstrated management skills.
Demonstrated passion for professional or college sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, etc).
Strong strategic selling skills.
Strong analytical skills to be able to understand and interpret account financials.
Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Intermediate computer skills to include Excel and Word.
