About the role

  • Account Manager managing key client relationships and driving growth strategies at Fanatics Commerce. Focused on creating partnerships and executing integrated marketplace plans for sports merchandise.

Responsibilities

  • Focuses on managing and further developing relationships, unique sales strategies as a direct partner to key accounts.
  • Brings a data-driven, storytelling approach to understanding customer opportunities and objectives.
  • Contributes to the creation and execution of integrated marketplace plans with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain.
  • Drives new business growth through selling solutions to team shops and accounts.
  • Researches and understands the customer base - business goals, objectives, and challenges.
  • Owns operations update meetings internally with all proper stakeholders.
  • Proposes solutions to deliver quantifiable business value through integrated relationships.
  • Works closely with sales operations team to analyze weekly POS for key accounts.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the licensed sports industry at revenue level of $3M.
  • Direct experience as an account manager in licensed sports at mass/mid/SG retailers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships that resulted in sales growth.
  • Must be able to maintain effective internal relationships to facilitate sales.
  • Proven track record of identifying growth opportunities that resulted in sales growth.
  • Demonstrated management skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for professional or college sports (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, etc).
  • Strong strategic selling skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to understand and interpret account financials.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills to include Excel and Word.
