Responsibilities
- Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Karate Framework and Kafka-based message testing.
- Strong understanding of Kafka concepts, including topics, partitions, consumers, producers, and security.
- Hands-on required on Oracle and Mongo - able to write queries based on mapping logic.
- Must have Message testing experience (JSON, Avro, Kafka etc).
- Strong in Kafka client configuration and troubleshooting Kafka issues.
- Experience in continuous integration and automated testing.
- Able to verify the integrity of data flowing through Kafka, including data serialization/deserialization, and data validation.
- Design, Develop and execute test plans and scenarios to verify Kafka functionality, including data production, consumption, and message processing.
- Working knowledge and experience of Postman, Git.
- Agile ceremonies, X-ray and Jira/Confluence experience
Requirements
- Graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in data quality or data management.
- Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Karate Framework and Kafka-based message testing.
