About the role

  • Delivery Manager at Zopa responsible for project planning and stakeholder management. Coordinates across multiple teams in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to define project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Identify and engage with all stakeholders.
  • Communicate project expectations and updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate steering committees.
  • Work with the project team to surface risks and issues.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and motivate project team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to risk and governance processes.
  • Facilitate project governance meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key project stakeholders, contributors and sponsors.
  • Ensure effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports.
  • Work with key stakeholders to embed change effectively.
  • Coaching individuals and teams to address dysfunctions and improve delivery outcomes.
  • Mentor junior colleagues in industry best practice and Zopa ways of working.

Requirements

  • You have experience in a Delivery related role.
  • You have strong communication skills.
  • You have experience managing medium/large multi team projects.
  • You have experience managing both technical and non-technical projects
  • You have worked closely with product managers and software engineers.
  • You have experience building and maintaining detailed project plans.
  • You are a keen problem solver and can navigate ambiguity effectively.
  • You have experiencing managing senior and C-level stakeholders.
  • You have a solid understanding of change management principles.
  • You can prioritize effectively and know when to escalate for guidance.
  • You are proactive in identifying and addressing your development needs.
  • You are happy to come into the office at least 2 times a week or as required.
