About the role

  • Palo Alto Networks Product Sales Specialist managing reseller activities and developing channel partnerships. Responsible for training, account management, and sales forecasting in the cybersecurity field.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting reseller activities in opportunity creation
  • Assisting the business unit in the development of the channel through existing and new reseller partnerships
  • Developing an understanding of where the vendor complements and competes within the existing vendor landscape
  • Helping to create end user opportunities for Palo Alto Networks
  • Working to achieve both individual and team targets against agreed profit requirements
  • Being a key contact for Palo Alto Networks within Exclusive Networks, developing relationships at all levels of the vendor organisation
  • Providing training and enablement to Key Resellers and their Sales and Technical Teams, ensuring accreditations are maintained
  • Managing key accounts alongside the Account Managers
  • Working closely with internal & external sales teams to set and co-ordinate partner meetings
  • Proactively working with Exclusive Networks and Vendor marketing teams to recruit, enable and drive new resellers
  • Developing end user lead generation programs with resellers
  • Implementing sales & technical training programs
  • Producing monthly sales forecast reports and statistics for Exclusive Networks management and the vendor
  • Supporting teams External Product Managers with their focus vendors where required
  • Driving the quarterly business plan working alongside the Account Manager and Vendor Channel Team
  • Working with the partner to on-board Palo Alto through training and enablement across all relevant departments
  • Supporting vendor focused activities, such as end user events and focus days
  • Visiting resellers, 2-3 days per week

Requirements

  • Have external Sales Experience with experience in the IT channel and an understanding of the commercial challenges for distribution
  • Be Highly motivated, with a pro-active approach to sales and workload
  • Be confident making decisions and taking initiative, whilst being a proactive member of the team
  • Target driven with a customer service approach
  • Have experience presenting to senior level contacts
  • An articulate and professional communication style
  • Strong analytical skills
