About the role

  • Senior Account Executive leading strategic sales and account management efforts for a leading event management solution in Switzerland. Driving growth by acquiring key accounts and optimizing sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead identification & acquisition: Proactively identify and approach potential new customers and build a qualified sales pipeline
  • End-to-end sales: Take full ownership of the sales process — from initial contact and solution presentation to negotiating proposals and closing contracts
  • Sales optimization: Analyze your own sales activities and report results as the basis for continuous improvement of your sales strategy
  • Strategic acquisition & market monitoring: Conduct in-depth market and competitor analyses to identify profitable market segments
  • Strategic use of tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot) to identify and qualify high-potential accounts
  • Identify and establish direct relationships with C-level decision makers in target organizations
  • Participate in sales events to generate leads
  • Responsible for data quality and strategic segmentation within our CRM system
  • End-to-end sales & negotiation: Design and execute targeted outbound strategies across multiple channels (primarily by phone)
  • Confidently deliver demos and sales presentations (online & on-site)
  • Develop tailored solutions for prospective customers and lead contract negotiations through to successful closing
  • Independently manage the entire sales pipeline from first contact to contract signature
  • Sales performance & strategy optimization: Monitor and analyze your personal sales KPIs to achieve revenue targets
  • Derive strategic recommendations from market feedback to continuously refine our sales story and approaches
  • Maintain complete documentation of the sales cycle in the CRM to ensure transparent forecasting

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales
  • Strong negotiation skills and a confident, professional presence
  • Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset
  • Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, result-driven and resilient working style
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the team
  • Good technical understanding of software solutions
  • Fluent Swiss German, High German, and English (spoken and written)
  • Proficient with CRM systems and modern sales tools
