About the role
- Business Analyst providing expertise in IT development and functional analysis in Brussels. Collaborating with development teams and major clients to align business solutions with requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of business requirements and perform functional analysis;
- Propose and document appropriate features;
- Prepare and maintain related documentation, including business use cases and user stories;
- Ensure alignment between business needs and proposed solutions through clear documentation, presentations, and stakeholder workshops;
- Identify risks and issues, and propose effective mitigation strategies;
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, business owners, project managers, and external development partners.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- At least 10 years of experience in functional analysis, experience in the labour market domain is considered an asset;
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in IT development;
- Experience in release management, including planning, daily follow-up, quality assurance and providing support to the Project Manager;
- Excellent knowledge of structured methodology for drafting and reviewing business requirements, with extensive experience ensuring deliverables remain aligned with initial business objectives;
- Excellent command of the English language.
