• Senior Project Mechanical Design Engineer overseeing mechanical building services projects across the EMEA region. Managing project lifecycles and mentor team members in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and workload of team members to optimise productivity.
• Possess extensive knowledge of discipline areas to guide decision-making and problem-solving effectively.
• Understand client needs and develop strong client relationships.
• Comprehend contract terms and conditions to control scope creep and maintain project integrity.
• Delegate tasks strategically to achieve maximum value and enhance team engagement.
• Report progress to the Group Management Team to ensure transparency and alignment with organisational goals.
• Manage quality control within projects to ensure deliverables meet established standards.
• Engage in resource management to optimise resource allocation and project execution.
• Promote a positive message internally and externally to enhance team morale and the company’s reputation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Hold a professional qualification.
• Candidate would need excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and take briefs from the project lead on large projects.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Good understanding of HVAC and building controls.
• Experience in the design of plumbing and drainage systems is preferred.
• Training and professional development of junior and intermediate engineers.
