Responsibilities
- Oversee projects across the EMEA region, managing the full project lifecycle from initial concept to client handover.
- Confidently handle project delivery while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Mentor and guide engineering staff, ensuring all team deliverables meet quality assurance standards before handover.
- Manage several projects and ensure team members stay on track with deliverables.
- Understand client needs and develop strong client relationships to deliver tailored solutions that meet expectations.
- Manage quality control within projects to ensure deliverables meet established standards.
- Engage in resource management to optimise resource allocation and project execution.
- Report progress to Group Management Team for transparency and alignment with organisational goals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of mechanical design experience.
- Hold a professional qualification.
- Excellent communication skills, representing Ethos as the design team in client meetings.
- Ability to lead projects and take briefs from project lead on large projects.
- Strong report writing skills and ability to explain complex engineering issues in simple language.
- Good understanding of HVAC and building controls.
- Experience in the design of plumbing and drainage systems is preferred.
